“Then can’t we just balance each other out?” Adrien asks softly, “We don’t have to argue, you know. We could be like…” he hesitates for a moment, searching for some metaphor to attach to this friendship, “Like two sides of the same coin.”
Marinette smiles, and Adrien could swear she holds the stars in her teeth. “Yeah,” she says softly, looking down at the gold pressed into her palm, “Two sides of the same coin.”Or the five times they made it back to each other safely and the one time… well, the one time one of them didn't.

Being mad she was injured came after he realized how she got injured.

Annabeth is hurt, so naturally Percy is pissed about it. Problem is, the injury is her own damn fault—and at this point, Percy is pretty sure his girlfriend’s antics and the ensuing heart attack he’ll inevitably suffer are going to be the death of him.
