He has spent two hundred years fantasizing about freedom—ludicrous dreams, where he is fed, where he is warm, where he parts Cazador’s head from his neck with his fangs—the stupidest, most basic, crudest ideas of what he might do if only he had the power to control himself. And now that he has that control, he fantasizes about someone taking it away again.
Specifically, he fantasizes about Wyll.
For some time, now, Astarion has fantasized about Wyll Ravengard putting him in his place. This isn't a problem, until suddenly it is.

Summary
It does not escape his attention that no one is willing to look him in the eye. That’s because they’ve already decided, he realizes distantly. This current display of hand-wringing is nothing more than a farce, to keep up the pretense that the betrayal they debate is difficult. It serves no purpose but to make themselves feel better, for it certainly does nothing for him.
He notices abruptly that there are more guards than usual at each of the exits, as if they truly expect him to run. He almost wants to summon a dagger just to see them all flinch. It is a petty thought, but when they speak of giving him up like a piece of property, a little pettiness seems warranted.
Ignis Scientia has always known that he might be required to sacrifice everything for the sake of his country, but that does not make it any easier when the king agrees to an unexpected term in seeking peace with the enemy: to hand over the prince’s advisor to Niflheim, as a token of good will.

A fill for the FF kinkmeme prompt: The aftermath of Episode Ignis alternate ending isn't as happy as it first seems. As time goes on more and more darkness gathers around Ignis. Strange things start to happen around him, and most importantly he no longer ages. Whether Noctis ends up having to kill Ignis, or Ignis has to live thousands of years without Noctis until a new Chosen King of Light is born is up to you. I just want to see the "good" ending turn out to be a bad ending

Prompto and Ignis get together and are basking in their new relationship.
But there's just something about Prompto that makes his friends desperate to look out for him. Meaning well, Gladio and Noctis both have talks with Iggy about not hurting him because...well, they think Iggy can be a bit cold sometimes, and too formal, and too fussy etc. They just don't want Prompto to get hurt given everything he's gone through.
Except Ignis isn't nearly as confident as his calm persona would suggest. He has his own considerable insecurities and when his two best friends who he's known pretty much his entire live seem to be suggesting he's only going to fuck this up, he takes it to heart and breaks up with Prompto, telling him he deserves someone better.
Prompto however is no wilting flower and when he finds out what Gladio and Noct have done he tears them a new one for hurting Ignis so badly before finding Iggy and assuring him he doesn't want anyone but him.

This is a 'one shot' but I've uploaded 2 versions. The second is slightly shorter because I've taken out some of Ignis' inner thoughts. So if you want the smut to flow more read chapter 2 but if you want the original way I wrote this with all of Ignis' inner thoughts read chapter 1. Really there isn't a large difference but I thought I'd give people the option.
