Summary
Newly moved into their apartment together, Nick and Charlie are relaxing when Nick decides to try a new app that Tao shared with him that uses hypnosis to help relax. Charlie is skeptical, but Nick wants to try it. Unfortunately, Nick's phone glitches and he accidentally gets hypnotized into thinking he's a golden retriever puppy. Now, Charlie must figure out how to break the hypnotic suggestion and get his boyfriend back while figuring out how to manage his new "Golden Retriever" in the meantime.

At the sight of freckled cheekbones and amber eyes, Charlie is suddenly transported back to over a decade prior. To the first meeting of a boy with a kind smile and sweet disposition in his form.
“Hi,” Charlie had said as he took his newly assigned seat.
“Hi,” the boy said back, a wary look almost passing his features before it quickly transformed into a polite grin.
Charlie never forgot the butterflies that swarmed his stomach that day.
Those same butterflies come storming back now so fiercely that he nearly keels over from the nausea of it. The jolt of panic, fear, and a little bit of something else that he can’t quite name, hitting him all at once.
