Oscar felt panic rising. Fuck... He hadn’t thought about that part.
With no time to come up with something decent, he turned his head, his gaze falling on Carlos, who was still watching him with raised eyebrows.
Oh, shit. He was going to regret this.
“Carlos,” he said, without even thinking properly.
The silence that came from the other end of the line was deafening.

Six months after Ingo disappears, Emmet makes a decision that nobody expects: it’s time to change tracks. His brother is lost, and he has found him—the face he knows as well as his own peering back at him from an article about a museum exhibit centered around ancient Sinnoh—but can't reach him without help. But after an incident a few years ago, all pertinent information about the legendary pokemon of the Sinnoh region has been restricted to certain League personnel, who aren't likely to grant him special access for a pursuit they'd probably consider too dangerous. Emmet has a plan to get around that little problem, though.
All he has to do is beat the Sinnoh League. He can do that.
AKA the fic where Emmet becomes the Sinnoh Champion to bring his brother home.
