Kíli son of Dís is hungry for adventure- but mainly just hungry. When he catches sight of a work opportunity that promises to pay more in a year than even his uncle makes, he jumps on it, though he knows his family would hate it.
On his adventure, he'll learn who he is inside with the help of his crewmates, and grow up into the Dwarf he's meant to be. If he can survive a cruel ocean, sirens, and monsters on sea and land.
This is an AU, the geography of Middle Earth is different, the people more diverse, and The Shire is known worldwide for being the best sailors in Arda.

Summary
This is the companion piece to Namo's Halls, and direct sequel to Courting Mishaps.
Erestor has lost his husband, all his family except for his mother, and his friends in the Fall and Dagor Dagorath. When his mother dies, he must follow Glorfindel's oath, protecting Turgon's heirs. But protecting this particular family is not so easy, and Erestor is fast losing himself. It is hard to have hope when you are utterly hopeless.

Summary
This is in the Drunk Texts universe. Elladan and Elrohir are still in high school during Drunk Texts 2. School has just started, along with archery tryouts, and the new kid, Kili, has just been accepted. Kili muses on his teammates and captain, and wonders if the poor kid from the suburbs can ever really fit in. Tauriel hides underneath a shell of anger. Faramir knows everything- except for how to get what he wants. Legolas just tries to survive.
Ori and Dwalin are engaged, thanks to Erestor's meddling, Kili's dating his cousin's boss' daughter, and Fili doesn't know how to bridge the gap between his brother and the rich kids.

This takes place directly after A Midsummer Night's Dance, so if you haven't read it, I recommend doing so. You can read this without reading the first, but you may be a little confused. In this one, Glorfindel battles issues with his father and courts Erestor- or, rather, tries to. Meanwhile, snakes lie in Gondolin's streets, and their safety may not be as assured as they believe.

So, alone in his room, he works on the assignment: he must keep a journal of his thoughts. He muses on his father's racism and hatred of all Non Christians and his father's hatred of him.
Above all, Faramir just misses his Mom. And he doesn't like being just 'Denethor's Boy' or 'Boromir's Little Brother'. He's smart, just not social. He wants people to see him as 'Faramir'. He wants to belong; but not as someone's property.Series

Summary
Glorfindel has spent all night, and most of the day at the hospital (see Archer's Notes for details), with his daughter Tauriel, and wants to get out. After calling Erestor and securing date number two, he also decides to bring his daughter- because Tauriel needs to get out too, and the best way to do that, of course, is to go as the third wheel to your dad's date. And she has to confront the ugly truth- her dad is really, really, awkward on dates. Oh, and his boyfriend is almost her age, but that's completely not an issue. Really.
Takes place during chapter 4 of Archer's Notes. I recommend reading up to at least chapter 4 first, but this is just an interlude and can be read on its' own.

I suppose you could put the 3rd one in the Glorestor drabbles series, but whatever. I'll stop updating these, likely after New Years. Most of these are only a few hundred words long.
I hope you all enjoy! There will be no violence (except for snowball fights, and the occasional massacred pumpkin), no graphic sex, drug use, or anything like that. Just- read this and get diabetes, you've been warned.
