Odo and Quark have a lot to learn about what it means to be a part of something greater than themselves, but the final years of the Cardassian Occupation of Bajor are filled with turmoil. The last thing either of them expect is to find a sense of home in the chaos. They can only hope to survive long enough to tell the tale.
This is a DS9 prequel investigating Quark and Odo’s lives on the station 5 years prior to the arrival of the Federation. The Occupation was a difficult time, but we intend to deliver a healthy dose of shenanigans and silliness as well as canon-typical controversy. Oh, and some feelings get involved too.

In honor of Valentine's day, an entry for the "draw your OTP posing like on a cheesy romance novel cover" prompt on tumblr, based on the cover of Rosalind Laker's Warwyck's Choice (which I've never read, but to be honest the cover isn't all that cheesy In my opinion, it's actually pretty cute as far as historical romance novel covers go).
Only once I finished the lineart for this one did I realize I'd misinterpreted the poses in the original, i.e., the lady isn't standing with her hand on her hip and one foot cheekily perched on a rock or something off-screen, but I think that idea works better with Shran's personality than the actual pose, so I kept it (to borrow a term from Bob Ross, it's a happy accident).
