Summary
A grand reinvisioning of the Metroid universe focused around the lives of Samus and Arne, once intended to be Sylux but now branched off into an adjacent character; from the earliest days to every major chapter of their lives as they experience and shape the greatest time of crisis in an aeon. Whether it's grand missions or simple, quiet moments of day to day life, the story is fundamentally about what is like to grow up as a youth in the far future as the status quo crumbles away and far more uncertain and dangerous times await, and what it is like to be born human but raised by alien beings who are all but myth to most and to bear the burden of great expectations.
All comments & feedback welcome. Even the silly ones.
Undergoing fairly extensive rewrites to fix some internal continuity errors. The overall plot won't change though.

Real people don't have "arcs". You're just human beings, and trolls, and a few other miscellaneous sentient beings. The path towards self actualisation is messy and maybe even futile, but you're trying anyway. There's not much else to do.
