Summary
Tommy doesn't actually hate villains for what they've done to him. He doesn't find it productive to waste his energy on what is a societal issue that he can't change. Besides, with powers like his, heroes and villains pose the same level of threat - and it's not like he could defend against either of them if he wanted to.
He turns to face Wilbur. “You don’t actually want to be friends with me. You said it yourself; I’m a dick.”
“It’s kind of endearing,” Wilbur confesses, “And I do. Want to.”
“I’m haunted,” Tommy warns, though slightly regrets it when those brown eyes lean closer and sparkle with curiosity.
“Really?”
“Tremendously.”
"How so?"

Protesilaus sounded bored. Tommy saw him turn around, and clamped his hands harder over his mouth, because he was entirely exposed right now. A defenceless raccoon hybrid, cowering against the base of a marble pillar, who couldn’t even run if he was seen, because running outside would just mean returning to a fate worse than even villains.

Steve raised his hand to knock on the door, but it swings open before Steve even gets the chance.
Eddie Munson is shirtless, wearing nothing but boxers leaving his pale tattooed covered skin exposed. His long curly hair pulled up in a bun letting Steve do nothing but stare at that fucking lickable jawline (did Steve mention that he has a soulsucking, heart throbbing, gut twisting crush on Eddie yet) that is damp with sweat just like Steve’s. He looks paler than usual, because let's face it, Eddie has really pasty white skin normally. But one thing Steve doesn't fail to miss is the tent in Eddie’s boxers. His big brown eyes are different, pupils blown wide as he eyes Steve with nothing but hunger.
“Steve.” Eddie growls, and the dark tone of his voice makes Steve wet. Hot dripping slick running down his balls in his boxers. Shit.

Eddie was concerned, but not 100% sure that he died. He had to be dead if he got stuck in the Upsidedown. Except. Sometimes he got out. Sometimes he flickered about topside and enjoyed his new favorite hobby: Haunting Steve Harrington.
Steve was concerned that he lost his mind. He kept hearing things. Seeing things. Smelling things. And by "things" of course, he meant Eddie Munson. It's enough to drive him up a wall. Or at least out of the closet. With help from Robin, of course.
The Party was concerned. Steve's behavior of late, was... weird. He started talking to himself. Max saw him breaking into Eddie's trailer in the middle of the night. Lucas noticed some pretty questionable hickeys when they played basketball. Except how could he be hooking up with someone when Steve never left the house? One thing became clear: it was time for an intervention.

Summary
Tommy's had a shit life. In foster care since birth, rejected from the hero program at thirteen for being a hybrid, and then three more years of shitty foster homes before he had no other choice but to run away. He had to keep her safe.
Four months later Tommy is working for Niki who is "Definitely Not in the Mafia". Making coffee doing his best to make a living and not get arrested for his various *alleged* crimes. Working a full time day job while pretending to be a "real" adult isn't easy, add in his new side hobby of stopping muggers and drug dealers and he's got a full plate.
Working at the cafe and being a vigilante weren't even his biggest concerns in life. But who cares about the heroes trying to hunt him down or the villains that are weirdly concerned about his wellbeing. He's got his own problems to deal with and everyone else can just wait.
Tommy's just trying his best to make the world a better place for his family (and not get arrested while trying) and he'll fight anyone who tries to stop him.
