Summary
Sonic is a local university student, headed for a basic degree and on the track team. He's living the life, running the track, and having a blast with his friends.
Until he meets Shadow.
Shadow is the introverted culinary student whom Sonic has never interacted with, but that changes when he catches the other feeding off a small critter in an alleyway.
That's when he discovers the truth about the Nightwalkers.
The creatures that roam the pages of books exist, and Shadow is one of them. He's a vampire. And he's not the only one. Sonic is brought into this new unfamiliar world and he learns that everything isn't the same anymore, even those closest to him have kept this secret from him. Now that he is aware and has been exposed, he's on the same thin ice as the Nightwalkers, learning their ways and discovering the dangers that lurk in the dark. But he's not alone. He has Shadow and Knuckles to guide him. Even if the dark, brooding hedgehog acts like he wants nothing to do with him and refuses to share personal things with Sonic.(TLDR: A series of chapters that show the relationship(s) between characters in the AU-- But mostly Sonadow)

Summary
In the world ridden with beasts, monsters, and demons, an alliance of brave monster hunters is the only hope common folk have to be protected against the forces of darkness. Sonic and Tails, a pair of brave hero newbies, are sent to their first, serious mission alongside a somewhat experienced hunter named Knuckles, and must deal with a beast terrorizing Windmill Village.
Things are spun out of control once Sonic is bitten by the beast during an attempted ambush and gets turned into one himself, now balancing dangerously between the world of people and monsters.

Sonic at his wits end after a grueling month long run being chanced by a hunter finds himself bleeding out in a nowhere forest when someone takes him in. as he heals he bares witness to parts of his savior that would other wise remain unseen, while also desperately yearning for companionship and the ability to communicate with him.The vampire shows the most vulnerable parts of himself in loneliness to what he deems a mangy dog. what will he do when he finds out the mutt he's growing to care for is just like him?

His memory fogged and scattered, only knowing rage, is encountered with a peculiar blue werewolf, also sharing the same aggressive behavior. Blood will be spilled, mysterious will come forth, but what will ease these two enraged creatures?
