Kasuga feels really bad about this later, okay? He knows he should have trusted his gut and not jumped to conclusions, he's known Hiro-san for like two days but still, the guy seems pretty decent and he did help the gang out with that bunch that showed up at the cafe. But it's like he said. Hiro-san going off by himself to this seedy part of town this late at night, plus all the other stuff that's going on with those shady dudes, just… didn't add up.
So he follows Hiro-san to that seedy part of town, and goes in that door, and he sees spotless white tile and stainless steel tables and counters and just the faintest little dusting of white powder on some of the surfaces and his heart sinks. It's not the shady business he thought Hiro-san might be up to. It's worse.

Summary
The kid's still not used to being asked what he wants. What he wants to eat. What kind of clothes he wants to wear. What TV show he wants to watch. He's not used to anyone giving a red fuck about his needs or wants or opinions. Most of the time, he answers any question like that with a shrug and just goes along with whatever meals they feed him or whatever clothes they give him or whatever happens to be on. But not this time.
No, this time, Yu-chan turns that wild-eyed glare on Nishitani. "Kill him," he snarls, without even a second to think it over.
"Huh." Well, who didn't see that coming? "Sure. We can make that happen. I guess. If that's all ya want."
Yu-chan looks at him with a mixture of confusion and indignation that'd be funny in any other situation.
"I mean," Nishitani goes on, "now this is just my opinion and shit, but… ya really wanna go that easy on him?"

For all his tactical acumen, Aoyagi just… totally sucks ass at games of chance. Like. He has the worst fucking luck at this bullshit. And also, he kind of had a hard time wrapping his brain around mahjong.
But it's okay now. It is. He's been practicing. He knows how to play mahjong now. He might still lose, but at least he knows how to set the board up and shit.
"Relax," Aoyagi says as they walk in. "I got this."

You want the long version, including the part where this whole dumb stunt was Majima’s idea? Kiryu kind of insists that it be made real nice and clear that this was, in fact, Majima’s stupid idea and he just went along with it because he didn’t know what the hell else to try. Which, y’know. Fair enough.
[In which Majima and Kiryu pretend to be a Thing for family business reasons. With these two, this is easier said than done.]

While it wouldn’t be the first time since they moved in together, and the boundaries Tseng has established since the very beginning have been respected - he does want to go further this time. Maybe not all the way. A part of him wants to reward Reeve for being so patient with him - for constantly trying to understand Tseng and everything he’s done in the name of Shinra.
