All he heard was a quiet sigh before the man behind him spoke again, “Ok, I’m gonna get us out of here. Everyone stay calm. I’m a police officer, I’m trained for situations like this.”
The man behind him continued but Jason stopped listening after that sentence. He had recognized that voice. It was a voice he'd known for years. One that was also attached to a police officer that he’d been lightly stalking these past few months.

The night had derailed completely out of his initial plan.
It was another gala night. Wayne Enterprises’ annual charity event this time. Bruce had gone through the necessary steps in making sure that the public, the people, see Bruce Wayne in the flesh and have something to talk about until next time someone started wondering what the billionaire was up to again. It had been a routine.
And really, it was going well. He just did not account for one singular Clark Kent to show up in the gala to throw him off balance and sweep him off his feet.-
Or, Bruce get an unexpected visit from Clark and they have nasty sex.

“I know,” Red Robin said gently. “And that’s okay, but we’re going to have to be really brave, okay?”
“Because adrenaline super powers don’t stay.” Heidi said.
“Exactly.” Red Robin said. “So, even though it’s really scary, we just want to make sure that you’re okay and to do that we have to have a fun little ride.”
As the siren came closer, Heidi pressed ever harder against his side. She had started trembling, not from pain or injury but because that loud noise was coming closer and she knew what it meant and she knew where she was going, even if she probably didn’t fully understand all that was happening.
Red Robin rubbed her arm, bumping gently against her.
“Red Robin?”
“Yeah?”
“Can… Can you come with me?”

This meeting was made to talk about Superman's clone- which makes him jealous, he wishes he had a clone buddy too -and he doesn't know why everybody is so stumped.
He guesses as an adult among other adults, he obviously has to voice his own thoughts as well.
(Which, again, he thought was kinda obvious but adults were weird like that he guesses)
