Summary
It was only natural, working in an emergency room, that you would find a frequent flyer who spoke to your soul as a physician and healthcare worker. A patient who frequented the emergency room so often that you didn’t even need to take a good history, you could walk into the room and know it was one of three things.
It wasn’t easy when you adopted a frequent flyer; the situations that typically landed them in the emergency room ranged from various precarious medical ailments to socioeconomic hardships. Samira figured her frequent flyers would fall into a category that overlapped with her research – patients with social or economic difficulties who were often overlooked in the emergency room.
She did not expect the mellow tenured professor from UPitt.

Summary
Dr. Skylar Wynn has survived more than anybody should. Her surgical residency tests her limits every day, and when her past threatens to push her further, she must hold herself together as her world falls apart.
The Pitt AU featuring a cast of original characters in PTMC's surgical department. There will be some cameos from familiar faces when in the ER (The Pitt), but this story primarily follows a new cast.

With a swift flick of the wrist, the patient pulled the trigger at Dennis's shin as if he wasn't using that, sending Dennis to the floor and clutching the wound as tight as he could.
"Go get your fucking boss. The head of the hospital for all I care. Just get 'em here." He said.
Dennis could barely understand him over the sound of the ringing in his ears. Over the sound of his loud breathing. Over the throbbing in his chest and the adrenaline flooding through his veins. He was going to die here. Bleed out slow and painfully.

Summary
“Who the fuck did this?” Jack roared, his voice cracking like a whip through the ER.
Nurses froze. A tech stopped mid-step. Even Dana, fearless on her worst days, halted in her tracks.
Trinity stumbled under Dennis’s weight, panic flooding her features. “Fuck—Dr. Abbot…” she breathed.
Jack didn’t wait.
He closed the distance in two strides and grabbed Dennis, hands sliding to both sides of the kid’s waist, hauling him off Trinity and straight into his chest. Dennis sagged instantly, collapsing against Jack like his bones had given up.
Jack’s jaw clenched so tight the muscle jumped. His eyes were pure, murderous fire.
Or where student doctor Dennis Whitaker loses a 6 year old patients and comes back to the Er bloody and supported by Trinity Santos. His two attendings who have been trying to get the student into their bed for weeks now, dont really take it well.
