Summary
Tommy recognised him. Of course he did, how could he ever forget that face, or the silky black hair that framed it, or even the feeling of those fangs lodged into his very own skin.
'He has changed a lot,' Tommy tought. 'and yet.'
Change wasn't in a vampires nature and it was apparent in how it barely took more than a glance, to tell that this was the same person Tommy unwillingly abandoned almost 12 years ago.
Shroud.

Summary
Something touches my shoulder and I reflexively swing my hand in the vague direction, potato still clutched tight. It's not connected yet. I realise distantly that that's good, could've caused a nasty chain reactions with the rest of the setup.
I'm not moving anymore, someone caught my wrist. I refocus my vision. And stare at Leanders face, his wide eyed expression, the flat end of a zink nail only centimeters away from it.
Mhins hold eases up when I pull against their restraint and I slowly set the potato down. I try to say something, but I feel more than hear the stuttering weeze I release instead. It hurts, now that I've noticed it. Like a cramp. It's loud, it must be.
So why am I not hearing it? Shouldn't I hear it? The ... The Wet Wick is full of people, they're louder. That's why I'm not hearing it.But I'm not hearing that either.
Oh.

Summary
I'm late.
And naturally, since I'm late and the universe notoriously hates tardiness while loving a good atonement, I run straight into trouble.
'Trouble' being a hand sticking out of an archway.
At least it isn't a severed one this time, I think before correcting myself. A severed hand would cause me less grief than one muffling my - very dignified - scream for help, as I'm forced backwards into a small and rather secluded courtyard, tucked into the deep inky shadows of it's own buildings.Ah, shit.

Summary
He had been trying to talk to Phil for literal months now ... or, well. He had been meaning to try at least. It was hard. Every time he went for it, something else seemed to happen and become more important in the moment. If Tommy was being completely honest with himself though, he had been avoiding it.
He was scared of the reaction, sue him!
He took a steadying breath - a habit he still hadn't grown out of - and pulled out his phone. The date was shining in bold white letters.
It wasn't anything particular, just another wednesday night, late enough it would be changing soon. Not a holiday, not a birthday, just ... Just the day Tommy was assigned his first fledgling.
It was time to stop being a deadbeat dad.Or: Tommy decides to finally trust his new family with his biggest secret. It doesn't go as intended.

Summary
The call gets declined again. Wilbur takes a shaky breath and holds the phone to his ear anyways. It's fine!
The words come easy, a nervous trait of his, and so he just rambles about his day at work, without giving it too much thought. There's nothing but terrifying silence to fill the breaks.
The steps of his follower don't waver.
His feet carry him further down the road with purpose, like he actually knows where he's going, and he keeps his shoulders lax, even as he walks under a broken streetlight into flickering darkness.Or: What's worse than being outside, at night, in the big city, all alone? Realising that you're not alone anymore.

Summary
Sage and Viper are dating. It's obvious to anyone who bothers to look—they're stupidly in love with each other. So, naturally, Clove figured that this was common knowledge in the Protocol.
Well, they figured wrong. Not only are the others not aware of Sage and Viper's relationship, but they insist that Clove is seeing things, and that the two women hate each other.
And that's fine. Clove will MAKE everyone see the truth. And, for the record: THEY ARE NOT DELUSIONAL.

I've found it. Peak comedy. I can die happy now, knowing that Clove has absolutely lost it!

Tala found her tattoo artist through Instagram and knew she was too good to be true. She was talented and nearby, with prices within her budget and raving reviews.
Of course she just had to be drop-dead gorgeous, too.(a.k.a. the tattoo artist x flower shop au)

Summary
At Hallowed Grounds, a quirky LA café known for its eccentric drinks and even more eccentric baristas, Clove—a rebellious, smart-mouthed Scottish barista with a knack for brewing chaos—meets Iselin Solem, a disciplined, stoic Norwegian business heir whose world runs on order and control. What begins as playful banter and teasingly named coffees soon brews into something deeper, something neither expected but both desperately needed.

I don't even particularly like coffee, but I think I need a lavender catastrophe <3
This reads beautifully. It's soft and sweet, with a hint of excitement and settles warm in your stomach after. Like a good cup of coffee! (Or hot chocolate, if you're like me👀) -

Summary
At Valorant U, the most prestigious university in the world, students aren’t just scholars—they’re the future rulers, warriors, and innovators who will shape history. Behind secret codenames, they battle for dominance in a ruthless hierarchy where power is everything.
Clove, a fearless first-year from a modest Scottish background, isn’t supposed to belong here. Yet from the moment they set foot on campus, they capture the attention of the school’s elite—including Deadlock, the untouchable third-year ranked #3. Their first encounter is electric, a clash of wills laced with something far more dangerous: desire.
What begins as an undeniable attraction ignites into something deeper—heated glances turning into stolen touches, sharp words giving way to whispered confessions. Between rivalry and reckless passion, Clove and Deadlock find themselves drawn together in a way neither of them can fight.
But in a school where ambition reigns and love is a vulnerability, surrendering to their feelings comes with consequences. And yet, some things are worth the risk.

Clove x Deadlock, a ship I didn't know I was sailing. Slightly unusual approach to a uni AU, in no way bad though. One of the best I've ever read and I've read too many. The characters are on point! I can hear them say the words I read, love it!<3

Summary
“Triple-Seven.”
Grian looks up. The silence seems to go on forever. “Yes.”
His superior leans forward, a rare and amused glint in his eyes. “Let’s make it public knowledge that Triple-Seven has left the Watchers. And it wasn’t a happy break-up.”
Grian takes off his hood, then his face mask. “So, what you’re saying is…”
“Let’s put you undercover Triple-Seven. And make it convincing.”
