Andrealphus huffed. “I’m-“ he cleared his throat. “I don’t know what you think you’re doing here Stolas, but you are drunk. You should stop before you embarrass yourself further.”
“I can stop.”
Stolas moved back, lifting both arms to flatten down his waistcoat. Andrealphus’s hand lifted towards him and then fell again, and he tucked it behind his back and leaned against the wall as if it had betrayed him.
“You’re free to leave, Andrealphus. You’re going to miss the party.”
OR- Andrealphus is angry at Stolas. Stolas knows why. And it’s not really about Stella.

Summary
After Prince Stolas of the Ars Goetia is found guilty for treason, his execution date is set to be marked by a parade, to celebrate (read: make an example of) the punishment of a royal who broke the oldest laws of Hell. While most of the citizens are abuzz with excitement over the coming party, in private, Marquis Andrealphus has a proposal for the disgraced prince that will save his neck and grant him more time with his beloved daughter; all Stolas needs to do is provide his body as payment.
Meanwhile, I.M.P. discovers the existence of a potential ritual that also might save Stolas's life... as long as someone (not naming any names, Blitzø) is willing to take hold of him and not let go, no matter what might happen when they do.
