Summary
Discord decides it would be funny to pop in on Twilight. That's nothing new. However, this time it could not have been more ill-timed, as just at that moment, Twilight had been testing out an experiment combining Harmony magic and the properties of Grogar's bell.
This permanently severs Discord's connection to Chaos.
Without magic and in a changed body, he has to find a new path in life, and it will not be easy, even with friends there to help him.

Summary
A prince with no kingdom is taken from his prison by mercenaries who had come to plunder its remains. As it comes to light that there is no profit to be made from him, they make him one of them. The former prince accepts this new role, because what else could he do, when he has nothing to go back to?
As for one town guard, it seems like the world keeps trying to test his values, and he struggles to understand what kind of person that makes him.
However, as they both remain trapped by their circumstances, it seems something good may come from their commiseration. One can only hope that what they are clinging to is not false.
-Summary: The prince gets taken from the manor by the Nyakuza and is forced to work for them. He befriends someone who was also forced to work for them. A tenuous friendship forms and escape comes afterward.

He'd heard that word thrown around, in public, by kids on the street, in the human shows. What perplexed him about it was that some people threw it at others like an insult, like the scouts that knew about his condition threw the term half-a-witch, funny considering he isn't even a witch, as it turns out.
