For a fleeting moment, Seijuurou was transported back more than a decade, to a Tetsuya birthday celebration organised by the Seirin basketball team. He remembered how genuinely happy Tetsuya had been that day, and how brightly — how fully — he had smiled. So this was what it felt like to be on the receiving end of a surprise. It was… actually fun.

There will be couples therapy, talking on their own, etc. Also fluff, daily lives, moments in each of their work places etc. Hoping to do what the show failed at, IMO (though I loved their ending). In order to live happily ever after, they need to put in the work.

Cameron is shocked to learn that after washing out from the air force academy, his type A best friend Ray turned to pills to fight off his racing thoughts.
Now he was being sent to a scared straight program run by ex Marines in Texas, and was scared to do it alone. Cameron had nothing going on, and with another move in his mothers plans, he decided this could be an adventure- maybe he could even grow a spine out of it. After all he was 18 and had no real life experience- he needed to get out more. Needed to grow up.
With the discovery of his affair in Guam on the horizon, Liam Robert Sullivan made the decision to not reenlist. The separation was hard, he couldn't adjust to civilian life and his VA advisor recommended he take some time working with former DI's down in Texas, a step out of the Marines, but where he could still use the structure to wean himself off. Come down stable as he tries to figure out how to rebuild a life. It's a perfect plan, until it isn't.

“What’s it like?” Touya says. Sudden, unbidden, impossible to take back. He clears his throat. “Going to UA.” Touya can’t look when he says it. He stares off in the opposite direction like the wooden beams and window panes of the house are fascinating.
“It’s the best,” Shouto says at last. “I love the dorms. My friends are always there, and class is challenging, but in a good way—well, it’s really thanks to Aizawa-sensei.” His voice is still low and melodic like it always is, but an edge of childlike excitement seeps into it.
Touya turns to look at him, and Shouto’s whole face is lit up. It fills Touya with bittersweet fondness. He’s glad Shouto likes it there.
“Sounds fun.” Touya looks down, blinks at his own clenched hands when he realizes he isn’t lying.

In full battle costume, still working hard despite the late hour, shining like some distant star he couldn’t reach not even if he were to try his hardest, Flame Hero: Endeavour, eternal Number Two in the Hero ranking, was staring down at some foe, hardly judging him, a mere bystander, worth of more than a quick glance from the corner of his eye, before dismissing him entirely to focus back on his opponent. Quite a contrast with how he, who was nothing else but a meaningless, sopping wet, dark shadow in a dark alley, just couldn’t tear his eyes off the man, as if nothing else mattered in that moment, as if he couldn’t see anything else, as if he couldn’t care about anything else. It had been six years. It could have been yesterday as well. Nothing had changed. Nothing would ever change. Nothing."
