Summary
After defeating Hawkmoth and finishing high school, Marinette moves to Gotham to try being a normal girl. Turns out being normal is not in the cards for a girl like Marinette. She was drawn to Gotham for a reason and it isn't good. The bats don't want her there, and figuring out what's wrong with Gotham is proving more difficult than she anticipated. At least she's got her new friend Tim to keep her sane.

“Yeah,” Tim chuckled, voice deeper from disuse. “Sorry. I didn’t meant to overstay my welcome."
“Your welcome never expires,” she scolded him automatically. “Sorry for falling asleep on you. I guess we were both tired last night.”
“You can fall asleep on me any time,” Tim said before his brain could catch up with what he was saying. “Er, wait, that’s uh, that’s not what I meant to say. I mean, you can fall asleep on me if you want to, but, uh, you don’t have to. Wait, no.”
