Summary
Jaskier finds himself in the halls of Kaer Morhen, home to the Warlord of the North. He didn’t expect to find the Warlord so attractive though.
Jaskier figures his normal gambit of flowers and poetry won’t go down well with a witcher, which leads to the immortal question of how to court one. Geralt figures if he wants to catch Jaskier’s eye he needs to compete with the techniques of the fancy courts Jaskier is used to. Both end in much confusion and little success.
Eskel, Lambert, Yennefer, and Ciri have a betting pool, and watch on in amusement.

Eddie finds an injured Billy Hargrove in a ditch by the road, and decides to do the right thing and help him out. It’s the start of a great friendship. After all, Hargrove likes metal.

It’s not that he wants to fuck Munson – the guy is in no way Billy’s type. Frankly, Munson doesn’t know how lightly he got off by skipping town before Billy really made his mark, because if Billy had known him in high school, he definitely would have bullied him. Even Munson’s elevation to rock god and public enemy #1 of the Christian Right can’t dispel that faint whiff of overexcited theater kid he carries around. Not fuckable, not even if Billy’s desperate (which he increasingly is).
Besides, it would hurt Billy’s ego to be in the ‘groupie’ category. To be forgettable, one of a long line of easily impressed, easily-bedded youths. He likes to have the upper hand; to be sure that his partner is appropriately grateful for his attention – and appropriately forlorn when it is taken away.

Summary
In the grand scheme of things, it had almost become a little bit banal; the crazy, world ending situations that Steve had managed to get himself into and actually, watching Vecna getting torn to absolute shreds by what they presumed was El in his own mind was kind of par for the course with his life at that point. Strangely, what was lightyears more exhilarating was seeing the faces of Dustin and Eddie as they booked it like hell out of the Creel house and back towards the trailer.
That excitement drained like bath water down the plug as soon as they were close enough to realise that Dustin was heaving Eddie with all his might though. His face white and sticky with sweat as he hefted Eddie into his arms towards their combined destination.

Eddie may have survived the Upside Down, but he's still suspect numero uno. While Stinson wrangles his innocence with the US government, the Harrington home becomes a safe haven for him in hiding. As does Steve.

“Steve?” Eddie interrupts again. Steve casts a glance in his direction, but Eddie is looking past him at the television with hazy eyes.
“Yeah, I’m here.” Steve jostles his foot gently and gestures for the doctor to continue talking about fluid levels. By fluid, he’s pretty sure she just means blood. The blood that Eddie was coughing up, he figures. It had to go somewhere, so they must’ve drained it the same way they drained all the leaking air from Max’s lung. Maybe. He hopes Eddie’s uncle gets this stuff better than he does.
“Don’t you live in Loch Nora?” Eddie asks just as the doctor is opening her mouth to speak again. Steve builds up to a sigh, unsure how exactly to tell Eddie to shut up when it’s not even his fault that he can’t, before he realizes Eddie’s gaze is still glued to the TV.
