Summary
Tommy had been alone for years. Somewhere along the line he’d accepted that he would be until he finally joined his family in the great beyond.
But a monster stumbled into his life with a patchwork body and eyes too kind for the cruel city they were both trapped in. And maybe things weren’t so bad, at least for a little while.
Or: Tommy lives in a survivor camp after the Infection left the city in ruins, and Ranboo is a monster who takes a liking to Tommy.

They watched the light get closer and closer before it broke through the trees, three men with it.
It must have been strange, seeing two teenagers with a car out in the middle of nowhere. Especially with one standing atop the car pointing a gun at them and the other kneeling as he aimed a loaded crossbow.--
In which a mute Tommy and deaf Tubbo try their best to survive during a zombie apocalypses whilst dealing with the trauma they carry with them. On top of that, zombies and other survivors just won't leave them alone. They just want a break.

“Of course the fucker is dead, it’s a zombie for Christ’s sake!” the madman exclaimed.
“Well, surely you hit its head,” Techno responded, gesturing to the mutilated corpse in front of him. “So then it’s dead dead.”
The madman stared at him for a moment in shock. Techno raised an eyebrow at him.
“Are you a fucking American?” the madman asked. “And where did you get a fucking sword?”

Being trapped in England due to a zombie apocalypse is not what 18 year old Technoblade imagined when he left America to go off to college. Completely cut off from his family in the States and forced to learn to survive in these dangerous times, Techno is surprised when he meets people along the way that don't try to recruit him into their gang or jump him for the chance of stealing his supplies. Maybe he can learn what it means to be apart of a family again and learn what it means to have a support system in a decaying world.

"Don't do anything to him," Tommy manages, heartbeat throbbing and throbbing. "Please."
Wilbur frowns, but it's Techno who steps forward. "Tommy, he's not going to do anything," Techno tells him cautiously. "You don't need to worry, alright?"
To you, Tommy would say, if he was stronger. He's not going to do anything to you.
But he doesn't. Tommy keeps his mouth shut—whatever it takes to stay.
When Techno and Wilbur Soot-Watson anger a bully, it shouldn't be an issue. They are as untouchable as they can get, for students anyway.
It's unfortunate that Tommy, their foster brother, isn't. Being their soft spot, it only makes sense that he becomes the next target.
