Dr. Kim once again sends Jisung off with plenty of pamphlets about continuous glucose monitors and suggestions for additional reading and videos to help him make a decision. Little does he know about Jisung’s new main concern.
Checking his blood sugar has become more than a necessary nuisance. It’s an intimate experience he gets to share with his partner. He would actually miss it, he thinks. Worse, would Minho miss it? Would he be disappointed to lose the little tastes of Jisung that he has grown used to? Maybe it’s silly to consider things like that when it comes to his health, but he can’t help it.

Summary
“How’s it taste?” Jisung asks. His wrist is cradled gently in his boyfriend’s hand, finger extended.
Minho takes another lick of the finger, though there is almost certainly no blood left over. He smacks his lips, “175,” he declares before looking at Jisung eagerly.
Jisung opens the test kit that was closed right after he inserted his blood on the test strip, so Minho couldn’t cheat. The small dark screen displays the time and date in tiny digital font and a larger number takes center stage.
“Daeng!” He makes a fake bell sound, “but you’re close, 192.”

“Did you see any idols?” Felix asks.
“No, but you know who I did meet?” Jisung tempts him into asking, leaning forward in anticipation for the reveal.
“Who?” His friend asks innocently.
“None other than The Lee Minho,” Felix sputters on his drink.
All Felix can let out is a strained “Wow.”
“Also,” Jisung says much quieter, “I met this really hot dancer,” he whispers. No way is he telling Felix that said hot dancer is also Lee Minho. Minho is much older than him and likely married.
Felix sighs in relief. This topic is much less dangerous, and he doesn’t need to lie about anything.
“Did you get his number?” he asks excitedly.
“No way,” Jisung shakes his head quickly. “He was like wayyy too hot, and older than me. He’s definitely not interested,” Jisung mumbles dejectedly.or
Everything wouldn't have gotten so messy if Felix and Jisung didn't have a shared knack for omitting certain details.
