He pauses, shifting to free one of his hands, gently grabbing the baby’s hand so as to read the identification tag around her tiny wrist. It’s got a date of birth, and a first name, no last. “Just about a week. You were born almost the same time as the Empire. How ‘bout that?”
The baby yawns, wide eyes scrunching shut. “Let’s you and I make a deal,” Alesk says. “We just won't tell Vader that you had a twin. Alright? You were the only baby there. Yes you were. Just like the intel said. That sound good, little Leia?”Or: the AU where Padmé lives, Vader doesn't realize it, Luke grows up with a Rebel mom, Leia grows up Imperial, and the twins meet amidst a backdrop of interstellar conflict.

Summary

Padmé had never known love, nor was she made for it. She had been raised in the dark ways of the Sith since her beginning. That darkness was what filled the empty space in her heart, a space most left for love. Her terrible purpose she had accepted as soon as her mind began to form thoughts. It was engrained in her very being, that one singular purpose:
The Rule of Two. Never one. Never three. Only two.
She was the sole apprentice of the great Lord of the Sith. The Lord's last apprentice was sacrificed so that she could take their place. Only Padmé was strong enough to become Lord of the Sith one day. Her master had grown weak in his old age, and it was only a matter of time before it was necessary for him to be... replaced.
Which is why she sought an apprentice. One to make two, when her master passed on. An apprentice to turn to darkness, to serve her needs, to help her fulfill... her purpose.

Summary
Padmé Amidala, a former senator of the fallen Republic, barely survived the childbirth. After her recovery, she suffered from partial memory loss and was led to believe that the Emperor's mysterious enforcer, Darth Vader, killed her husband on Mustafar. Eight years later, she has joined the aspiring Rebel Alliance and volunteered to take part in a high-risk operation, only to be captured and thrown into an Imperial prison. To hide her true identity and protect her children from the Empire's wrath, she is forced to use a little too predictable alias.
What will Vader do when he confronts the prisoner and realizes that he has been deceived by his Emperor? And how will Padmé react when she eventually finds out who is behind that terrifying mask?

Summary
The last year had been nothing but finding family, reconnecting and drastic changes. Vader, Anakin, he didn't know who he was any more, but he knew his priorities hadn't changed just because his name might have. His family was all that truly mattered, and he would continue to protect them with everything he had. Reunions he never expected to happen changes everything he thought he knew about the galaxy and his life takes an even wider turn than it had when he found his son in slavery all those months ago.
