Summary
In a land far away, three races thrived but fought against each other for territory; the Wolves, the Vampires, and humans. Being born without claws, fangs, or any natural means to defend themselves, the humans then armed themselves with their weapons, cruel magic, and technology to be able to fight back. But unfortunately, the positive results from such an endeavor had corrupted them and made them greedy.
Soon, the humans turned the tides and the fight no longer became a matter of territory, but of race. They created the Hunter’s Guild whose purpose was to hunt down Wolves and Vampires which then drove the two other races in a corner to the point of being endangered of being wiped out.
This was how things were for the past two hundred years until one day, a Hunter started to question the ethics of the Guild’s ways and the sense of all the fighting when he personally met a Wolf…
And they fell in love.

Upon entering the higher ranks and the Imperial Court, Yeager no Eren is oblivious of the plot to assassinate the Emperor and his wife. Smith no Erwin along with Ackerman no Levi design a plan with the Emperor and Empress to reveal the identity of this foe by having Levi go in disguise as the Empress's newly appointed lady-in-waiting.
Nicknamed "The Shining One" among the court maidens, Eren is love-struck when he accidentally comes across Levi and mistakes him for a woman. It's bad enough that Levi has to disguise himself and try to pass himself off as a woman, but when the most popular bachelor courtier begins sending poems of love in hopes of courting Levi, life among the female aristocrats will get a lot more difficult and scandalous.Bookmarked by Lycaeus

Summary
This week on ‘Come Dine With Me’ we join competitors Eren Yeager, Hange Zoë, Jean Kirstein and Historia Reiss. All think they can pull off the perfect dinner party, but only one can win the £1000.
Recently appointed producer, Erwin Smith, is uncannily good at stirring the drama. The more sparks flying across the dinner table, the better the ratings, after all. If only his camera team were as ruthless as him: Petra keeps trying to show everyone’s best side and Mike is only good for filming the food.
Erwin is used to Levi being the dependable one; he has the right sort of patience for filming. But this week his star cameraman is distracted... and Erwin suspects the cause is none other than the first-night contestant!
Note: There is a mix of ‘script’ style and traditional narration. The Come Dine with Me UK narrator features in both and will always be in bold. The narrator is famous for scathing and sarcastic comments. He is like an omniscient presence who makes fun of each contestant. No one is immune!
The rest of the story is mostly from Levi’s POV.

Summary
Levi is a scout, and protects his village day and night from feral yokai, demon like creatures who feast on human flesh. When the chieftan of his village is killed by the beasts, Levi's father takes over, putting him next in line to lead his people. All Levi wants to do is watch over Mitras with his blade, fighting along side his teacher, who he has been in love with all his life. When he discovers that Erwin is getting married, he heads off into the woods alone to drink and slay demons, trying to forget. He never expects to summon from the darkness a yokai of his own.
After a few minutes everything went quiet, and then his yokai was before him, magnificent, covered in splashes of red. My yokai? He wore a maniacal grin , the joy of taking a life that deserved to be taken. Levi knew that joy, had worn that expression so much he could feel the ghost of it on his face. Then, the yokai spoke.
"You were so damn slow, I thought I'd never meet you." Levi felt his mouth gape open. Yokai couldn't speak. They were like animals, beasts without souls."Who are you? What are you?" That smile grew predatory, eyes slitting deviously.
