As he prepares for his 18th birthday, the day he will no longer be allowed to live at Corvus Point, he starts to experience loss of time and extreme fatigue. Coming home bloody and bruised without knowing what transpired. Unknowingly, Shoyo has become a certain vampires favorite blood bag. Maybe through fate or just plain bad luck, he is thrown into a world of death, obsession, blood, and love. One thing is for sure, his life will never be the same. If he can manage to stay alive that is.

Hinata rolled out of his bed, punching his alarm clock for the fourth time this morning— the other three because of the snooze button— and darted for his bathroom to follow through with his usual morning routine. For a twenty-year-old boy, Hinata tried his best— he was not very tidy or organized, he struggled with grades— but he was determined to make every day better than the last, and that mindset was working quite well for him so far.
For Hinata, college was incredibly lonely. Not because he didn’t have friends, but mainly because he didn’t have a roommate. The dorm had an empty bedroom, and it had been like that for his whole first year of college, and for the first term of his second.
Maybe he'll finally get a roommate today. Who knows? He sure doesn't.

For as long as he could remember, Azumane Asahi had loved the ocean and all of its inhabitants. Well. Perhaps not all of its inhabitants. He was not particularly fond of giant squids. To not even mention the nightmarish monsters hidden deep deep below the surface, most of them unseen by the human eye. Still, Asahi really did love the ocean. It fascinated and inspired him. It also terrified him but then again, what did not?
