Summary
The good news: Viktor took a break at the right time for Jayce to watch him in the afternoon light, when he went to sit on the armchair by the window. It was an ethereal image - the sun caught the wild strands of his hair, dipping them in gold.
The bad news: there was no way to represent this without switching to toned paper.
The good news: Jayce bought toned paper.
The bad news: Viktor ended up looking more like some kind of bioluminescent hedgehog.

It's a new school year, and Piltover Academy is welcoming new students, the majority of them being from similar, wealthy backgrounds. However, one seems to stick out like a sore thumb.
When he meets his new roommate, the two seem to have nothing but negative opinions and feelings towards one another. Though, as the school year progresses and they're forced into a project together, their opinions and feelings begin to change.

Summary
Viktor's illness is getting steadily worse, again. They thought they had more time, they thought they could use the first time around to predict the timeline, but in this universe things are unravelling too quickly, much too quickly.
Worse, is Viktor's apparent acceptance of his death. Or at least, his denial of Jayce's attempts to find a cure. It's driving Jayce insane.
If Viktor thinks for one moment that Jayce is ever going to accept his husband's death, Viktor is in for a very rude awakening. Because Jayce would do whatever it takes to keep Viktor alive.
Whatever it takes.

'A high keen echoed through the rafters, sharp and sudden, haunting. It made the ghouls jerk hard, heads swinging around, made the parishioners gasp, several jumping to their feet, ready to flee from their places.
The line broke, Rain curling in on himself a little, trying to stay upright, trying not to move, but he felt hot and uncomfortable and his pants were going to be ruined- The other ghouls had to fight not to surround him, both for comfort and protection. That sound meant distress.'
Heats don't always happen in convenient places. Luckily, the ghouls take care if their own.
