You have the final say, okay?”
Trucy’s happy for him. She hasn’t seen him this kind of giddy and hopeful for a while. She’s seen how they would sometimes look at each other when the other couldn’t see. She knows it would make her daddy so, so happy.
That’s why she says without hesitation, “Oh, Daddy… you can’t.”
Phoenix asks for Trucy’s blessing to start a relationship with Edgeworth. It’s the last thing she wants right now.

Ever since Candlenights, things had been fucking fantastic. The IPRE program was going great, Taako was actually goddamn happy for once, they hadn't heard hide nor hair of their asshole relatives since their grand exit, and she was engaged to Barry fucking Bluejeans. Realistically, this should be the happiest Lup had ever been in her entire life.
Except engaged meant wedding, which meant wedding planning. Lup had no earthly idea what she was doing.

Finding a secretary who knew anything took him another five minutes, and when she told him they were the next wing over and three flights up, he clenched his fist to keep from shouting in disappointment and anger. Any other attorney, client, or whole man in the whole building could have gotten there in five minutes with three to spare, and probably some of the women too. Nobody else would have had a problem.
