Summary
The age difference between siblings is five years, but sometimes, five years is too long. Growing up with a tight group of friends can sometimes leave someone lonely when they have their lives ripped out from under them.

Somebody has been spiking drinks along Boogie Street in an attempt to make quick Reál by mugging their unconscious victims. However, when a batch of drugs turns sour and causes three casualties, it's up to two of the 41st's most *geriatric* Detectives to hit the strip *undercover*.
One: HARRY DU BOIS; newly sober and *itching* to bust moves a good two decades out of date.
Two: KIM KITSURAGI; self-proclaimed 'spoiled sport' and more cop than man.Oh, and there's an extra spanner in the works. The Detectives seem to have had a *COLOSSAL* falling out two days prior that has rendered them... Not on the best of terms. What could possibly go wrong?

It’s five in the morning and Pannacotta Fugo is standing naked and bloody in the bathroom. A patterning of crumpled and timeworn pages spread around the tiled floor. Stained with old, dirty blood that had been absorbed by the page and bloomed like a flower. Torn in weathered spots that had been weakened with the long-ago moisture of tears, spit. Semen dotting some of the edges. He didn’t have any fancy prose for that one.
Fugo snorts, knees weak and hands shaking.
How’s that for an opener?
