Summary
A small fleet of Culture ships arrives in the Warhammer 40k galaxy and tries to overcome Grimdark while dealing with the Outside Context Problem of Chaos.
Hilarity ensues. Including, but not limited to, a Special Circumstances archaeological dig on a Necron tombworld, multi-party future sight gambit pileups, serious upgrades to the Tau, fun with the Dark Eldar, some subtle influence in the IoM, and a hell of a lot of dead Tyranids.
Also includes many fun and exciting alternate endings :).

Summary
In the late 1970s, the Alpen Signal Observatorium is at the height of operation, with a full crew of doctors and scientists all working together to study the stars. One particular member of the team, Engineering Specialist Hannah "Sparky" Murphy, is overworked and underpaid, but is at least enjoying the Swiss Alps enough to not mind the occasional strange goings on that the team encounters.
Until one night, where she considers doing something beyond the ordinary, and gains the attention of a higher power who "gifts" her with a series of prophetic dreams that blur the line between the real and unreal.

Your ear twitches. It sounds like humans, the voices too large and booming to be from someone like you. A small shudder runs down your spine. You… do not particularly like interacting with humans. It usually doesn’t go well.
But you also know that one individual does not define an entire species… thus, you are debating with yourself here.
Whatever those humans are fighting, it doesn’t sound like they’re winning.
It wouldn’t sit well with you if they died when you could have done something. Stars. At the very least you can check and see if they need help. If so, you can help from a distance. If not, you can just get back to your berries. Yes. Good plan.
