Summary
If dictionaries were to have pictures, Alastor was fairly certain he'd find a photo of Lucifer next to the word 'insatiable'.
He'd barely gotten his shoes off before a pair of hands had landed on his hips and forced him around, hooves very nearly skidding out from under him as the rug rucked up under the force of his turn. It didn't matter, in any case – within seconds, his rear landed on the mattress, and a by-now familiar set of lips had landed on his.
Lucifer tasted of sugar and butter, a hint of strawberries thrown in just so he could say he'd eaten something healthy.

Summary
Lucifer isn't okay. He hasn't been for a long time. Actually, has he ever been okay?
It's alright, it doesn't matter. Because he WILL be okay for Charlie. He WILL be there to support her.
But of course that creepy red bellhop crawled back out of whatever hole Adam chased him to. And of course he's just as close with Charlie and her friends as before... if not closer.
Great. Just great. Looks like Lucifer is on "keep an eye on the manipulative deer" duty, since no one else seems willing or able to do that.
But it's whatever, he's the King of Hell. It's not like he can't handle one sinner, overlord or not.

Summary
The Seraph program, created to defend humanity against great beasts intent on leveling the planet, has been in steady decline since the loss of it's premiere pilot team, Lilith and Lucifer Morningstar, seven years ago.
When Lucifer learns that his estranged daughter, Charlie, has decided to become a Ranger, he is forced to confront the years he has spent avoiding his past. When a renewed threat demands more soldiers, he is pulled out of his faux-retirement to once again battle the same demons that sent him there. It doesn't help that his new co-pilot is an absolute prick.
Alastor, blackballed from the Seraph Pilot program years ago, sees an opportunity to finally get his revenge and perhaps even seize the future of the program by volunteering. It has absolutely nothing to do with his former student, Charlotte Morningstar's foolish belief that the Seraphs can do anything besides briefly delay humanity's downfall. Nothing at all. Finding out that he's drift-compatible with her father, the elusive Lucifer Morningstar, is an..unforeseen development, but not one that he can't twist to his advantage.

A light flickered above Alastor’s head, his additional senses prickling. Tuned into any minute disturbances – like a radio dial set between stations, ready to pick up on any changes in what was being broadcast.
And a new station had just come into range.
His smile widened behind the paper he’d been barely reading – though the article about VoxTek scrambling to put things to rights after their towers had been 'mysteriously' taken out was somewhat entertaining – and he folded it, static hissing.

Alastor was almost disappointed at how predictable she was.
Opening his eyes, surrounded by a darkness so heavy he couldn't be certain he had opened his eyes at all, and somehow all he could feel was exasperated.
“Somebody really ought to teach you about overplaying your hand, my dear. Threats start to lose their potency when one doesn't act on them, after all,” he drawled, irreverent as ever. A rustling of wings answered him, a whisper of feathers gliding against one another.
How could the sound be so comforting when in Lucifer's presence, and yet send chills down his spine now?

“Why him?”
Lucifer closes his eyes with another sigh. He crosses his arms over his stomach, simulating the hug he so desperately needs.
There’s a lot he can say here.
Like how Alastor makes his hopeless heart flutter with the belief that maybe dreams are still possible; that Alastor makes him feel something, anything, everything all at once, and it is as heavenly as it is torturous.
But all he can manage, in a voice so small he can scarcely believe it’s his own, is, “He makes me laugh.”

Summary
Alastor looked so human and lost in this moment. Lucifer couldn't deny it was appealing, especially considering who he was dealing with. The idea of taming Alastor gave him a clenching thrill that he would be very happy to leave unanalyzed. His grip on Alastor’s coat tightened. The through-line of Lucifer’s life was to make impulsive, emotional decisions and to stew in the agony of the aftermath for the rest of his existence. Why stop now?
“Let me try something,” Lucifer said softly.
-An attempt on Lucifer's part to make nice with Alastor leads to late night rambling metaphors, kissing on a couch, and learning a few new things about themselves.

Summary
Lucifer had managed to dig himself at least somewhat out of the pit of depression he’d been trapped in for years; he’d started to feel other feelings than dull hopelessness.
He’d even managed to catch feelings for someone.
Feelings he’d eventually managed to express, leading to a rollercoaster of trying to navigate a new relationship for the first time in thousands of years. There were surprises, smiles, miscommunication, misunderstandings, arguments, laughter, accidental cannibalism, and even if it sometime felt like it was often one step forward, two steps back ... Lucifer liked it.
That was how he now found himself with the Radio Demon in his bed.
There is an attempt to have sex. Things doesn’t quite work out.

“You are staring.” It was a statement, not a question. Alastor wasn’t looking at him; his eyes seemed to be focused on his book. But he had apparently noticed Lucifer’s eyes on him.
Lucifer swallowed. He might as well jump into it. “Can I touch your ears?”
Alastor turned to actually look at him. His neck made an unsettling crack as he tilted his head. “Why?”
“Because, well, they’re cute.”
When your partner has fluffy ears, it’s tempting to find out just how soft they are.

Summary
The thing about Alastor was, despite his ‘international man of mystery’ vibe, he wasn’t above being the one manipulated if a person knew how and Lucifer was one in the know. This wasn’t amateur hour here, he was Lucifer, thank you, and his manipulation techniques were top notch.
The best way to get anyone to do something for you was making them believe it was their idea in the first place

Summary
The battle is over, the hotel is being rebuilt, and everything is coming up roses, as much as anything can grow in Hell. There's just one thing that's taking up entirely too much of Lucifer's thoughts.
One thing or one person, and it's one hell of a distraction, no pun intended.
Lucifer was supposed to be working on rebuilding and Alastor was supposed to be sleeping. So far, neither of them are doing what they should be, no surprise, there, was it? Neither of them have ever been very good at doing what they've been told.
