Summary
He caught it - a familiar face several ships away but in direct sight through the frigid wind and rain, its owner freezing and double-taking for a split second as Sanji was seen. All else was noise, people rushing and fighting and at war around them, but Sanji and Crocodile froze alike. Their former-and-still-maybe enemy had been weaving around the bodies towards the portside railing of his ship and stopped, struck into stillness at the sight of the Strawhat’s cook adjacent from him, and despite the chaos and noise and endless fighting around them, everything grew momentarily still.
Then came the explosion, the splatter, and the splash into the sea below.

Summary
The nightly habits of his Cross Guild-mates were, uh, concerning to say the least.
Buggy took it in stride. Sure, sometimes there would be bloody-murderous screaming coming from Croc's tent, and Hawkeyes had been seen more than once prowling the meeting halls, with that oversized bedazzle-stabber clenched in his fist. They were quirky like that. He could get used to weirdness, pretty fucking quickly.
But sometimes his crew got scared.
In which Mihawk sleepwalks, Crocodile has nightmares, and it's up to the Guild's Chairman to figure something out.

Summary
“All around them voices jeered, egging on the first entertainment the Eternal Hell of Impel Down had gotten in years, but Crocodile couldn’t see or hear any of it, not past the screaming protest trapped in his lungs or the blood rushing past his ears with every word that fell from Doflamingo’s mouth like poison.
“I wanted to let you be someone, Croc,” the man above him hummed, driving into him like he wasn’t a person, but an object made for this exact purpose. “I wanted to let you think you could be something. Then I would have swooped in and asked you the question I always knew would ruin you.””

Doflamingo starts before he can say anything, “do you want me to leave?”
Crocodile’s defenses crumble when Doflamingo places a hand on his knee, tracing circles over his slacks.
“I can’t possibly leave when you’re looking at me like that.”
The words are mumbled into the space around them, Doflamingo’s palm sliding up. Crocodile tries to breathe regularly, hardly making a move because he knows if he does, then it’ll all be over.

“Come to find me before the end, huh? You’re a wanted man, you know?”
“Are you offering me clemency, Doflamingo?”
The resounding laughter that graced his ears lacked its usual underlying absurdness. His signature sunglasses and feathered travesty of a coat nowhere to be seen as he peered out over the short walkway overlooking the vast kingdom he’d seized years prior. A cacophony of sounds weaved its way through the night air; lights glittering like stars on palm trees.
The pool below looked more than welcoming.
“You know I only offer punishment, darling.”
