Summary
In the power vacuum left behind by the passing of the King and Queen, Prince Ivan must be trained to take his place. Until he comes of age his Regent, Winter, has full control of his upbringing and the running of the kingdom.
Winter's methods are unorthodox, but it has been drilled into Ivan's mind by now that they are the only way for him to be even close to as great a King as his father. But Winter is unimpressed with his progress so far.

Neither one of them is thrilled with this, but try and not fight the best they can. Even though they clash on just about everything they can’t help but both agree that they can’t wait for the thirty days to end.

Now America and Russia now are at each other's throats always competing always compared.
Always striving for the best.
But competition soon turns into a slow romance.
And Russia and America are both in the midst of love and war.

Summary
Ivan has only been King for little over a year when he encounters his biggest challenge yet. After heading to the South East Ivan discovers abandon villages, farms and towns, all with the same message written on old rotting boards. Following their messages he heads to Soldalr where he learns that only a fraction of the population remains due to a monster creating disease know as Blight, and they are being led by a powerful Alpha who has kept them alive.
Ivan must face his biggest challenges; Cure the Blight before it can spread even further, Find its original source, Discover why he was never informed of the plight of the South East, Convince the people and this other power that he is worthy of being their King, and Convince the beautiful, yet mouthy Omega Alfred that he's not so bad after all.
He's gonna get more than he bargains for with that last one.

Alfred looks down to see where exactly he’s walking. While stumbling his way through the rapidly growing piles of snow, he accidentally trips on a branch buried under the snow and trips. He hurriedly corrects his stance so as not to fall, though with all his fumbling, there’s no way he escaped detection.
“If you are attempting to creep up on me, I would not consider that wise, да?”
Or
While attending a meeting in Russia with the Empress, Arthur leaves Alfred alone in the next room. Alfred gets bored and decides to take a walk through the woods outside the palace. Quickly finding himself lost, he stumbles upon a weird and handsome stranger, one who is kind enough to offer friendship and help him back to the palace.

Summary
We’d all like to think that in the zombie apocalypse we’d be a tough survivor. Someone who’d beat the odds and come out from the darkest days feeling victorious.
Alfred had that sort of optimism once, but after months on his own, he learned that being a hero was easier said than done. He gradually lost his sense of justice, turning into a cold-hearted monster.
That is until he met Ivan Braginsky, whose naivety and inexperience with the apocalypse helped Alfred regain his humanity.

During the Cold War Alfred and Ivan still find a time and place to spend the holidays with one another. Cooking and dancing take place in their little cozy corner of happiness and safety. Angst makes a small appearance, but majority of it is sweet and fluffy.
