Summary
To be clear, Ilya is grateful the rookies aren’t growing up the way he did in the NHL. Ilya took the hazing to the chin – humiliation rituals, beat downs, grueling practices to prove he could “hang” with the big guns on the team.
That being said, there’s still some part of Ilya that balks at the request by the gaggle of rookies to watch The Iron Giant, a veritable children’s movie at the team’s latest movie night.
OR: Five times Shane and Ilya were the support system for the Centaur rookies they dreamed of having when they were younger.

Summary
Jaskier smells nice — honeysuckle and something musky. It’s like waking up to food on the fire. Geralt wonders, not for the first time, how Jaskier maintains it to such a degree while traveling. He doesn’t ask because he doesn’t want him to talk his ear off about oils and perfumes (which he knows Jaskier owns several of for different purposes).
The fire crackles. A log splits and spits at him where he’s trained his eyes.

Summary
The basic premise of Kiersey College: Sebastián "Nando" Hernandez, who can be treated as our main character, arrives at Kiersey College in New Hampshire in the fall of 2018. He's 2000 miles from his hometown in Arizona, and he's at Kiersey to play college hockey, study sociology, and hopefully build the confidence he lacked in high school. This series gives you pieces of not only Nando's story, but the stories of the people he meets along the way as well.

"Byers does this thing every semester called the Muse Project, where you pick a person or a subject and your final piece for the course has to focus on them. Then at the end of the semester, there’s this coffeehouse where everyone invites their muse and shares their work. So obviously everyone picks whoever they’re dating at the time, and then they break up halfway through the semester and all the writing turns super angsty. Which would be fine, except I don’t write about people, like, ever.”
That’s a lie. He does write about people, but always in an abstract sense, and never more than once—the curve of a hip under his hand or the promise of a kiss on his neck, nothing you could spend a semester on. Before Samwell, and sometimes still, there never seems to be anyone permanent enough to write about.
A minute or so goes by before Dex speaks. “Does it have to be romantic?”
“Uh, no, not really. Just someone that inspires you.”
“So write about me.”
