    “Holy shit, dude,” Hayden whispers, too loudly, as he pulls Shane away. “No way you were just talking to Ilya Rozanov.”

    “Uh, yeah. We just met. Wait, did he lie to me?” Shane asks, looking back over his shoulder where Ilya is now standing next to a short but very muscular woman with long black hair. “What does he play?”

    Hayden stops, so Shane does too.

    “You don’t know who that was?” 

    Shane makes a face that says ‘no shit’, and waits for an answer. 

    “Dude. You are so innocent. Ilya Rozanov, ‘Russia’s Greatest Love Machine’?” Hayden says, like it’s obvious. 

    Shane looks at him blankly, and then Hayden laughs. Not like, a chuckle. He full on cackles, bending over like he can’t even contain it. “Man, he’s like prolific.”

    “At what?” Shane snaps, because he’s getting really sick of not being in on the joke. 

    “He’s a porn star, man.” 

    “A-” Shane says, swallowing thickly. “What?”

    He turns his head toward the sound, but doesn’t open his eyes, instead opting just to keep the blissed-out look on his face as he waits to hear what Ilya’s going to say. 

    Shane imagines it’ll be something like, ‘You are perfect. Such a good boy.’

    Or maybe in Russian, ‘I love you so much.’

    But much more likely, ‘I give you ten minutes, and then I blow you in the shower.’

    Fingers brush against his cheek, and Shane leans into the touch, lost in the feeling of being loved and wanted so wholly. And then, “Would you still love me if I was a worm?” 

    His eyes open, and he wonders if his dopamine-addled brain has just misheard. “I’m sorry. What?”

A singular man with a large frame is revealed, and his body is shrouded in shadow, which piques Shane’s interest. His shoulders are broad and well-muscled, and he’s wearing a fucking toga, which Shane finds kind of hilarious. He lets out a high pitched giggle, and Rose elbows him as she sips her drink. He follows suit, taking a long pull of the vodka, because goddamn this man is downright godly. Shane can see each dip and depression, the shadows from the spotlight throwing him into stark contrast. His body is made of lean lines and bulging muscle, and Shane is already enthralled.

    As the song picks up the man’s chin tilts up, revealing hazel eyes and plush, pink lips. His jaw is stubbled but not bearded, and his light curls gleam in the light. Everything about him is fucking attractive, but Shane assumes if you put your body on display for money, you better look the part. Even with that in mind, Shane is vaguely aware of wanting to put his tongue all over this man’s glorious body.
