After all the nights Sean stayed up wondering about the possibilities; the things he could have said, how he could fix it. This was a hard conversation to have. There was no good way to explain it all, or justify his actions. He’d royally fucked this up. There was only one thing he could say at that point.

Summary
Walking away from Finn's hospital room was one of the hardest things Sean had ever had to do. Everything since that day just got worse- and for over a year, Sean was completely and utterly alone. In a new country, living in his dad's old sea-side home- life felt empty, devoid of purpose. He wasn't sure anyone was thinking of him at all- leaving him utterly shocked by a birthday surprise.
By no means did Sean go into any of this looking for love, but all it took was some goofy stoner from Montana to change his entire worldview- and the course of his life.(Post-Parting Ways fic filled with all the silly little headcanons that help me sleep at night bc this game was genuinely heart-wrenching.)
