He is a unicorn, his fate the same as all other unicorns, and yet he remains in his forest, in the dark hollows between tree trunks and the whistling wind carrying the smell of growth from beneath the soil. He is there, which meant, surely, that the others are there too, though he does not know where.

B.Y.H.B, ‘Be Your Heroic Best’ had been explained to Robert, by Blazer of course, as a convention led by retired heroes, and heroes in their prime, with the sole purpose of teaching what they’ve learned in the field to better educate the upcoming, heroic youth. It was a two day event, Saturday and Sunday, and the SDN was willing to pay, round trip, for someone from the Phoenix Program to attend — with a chaperone of course.
When Robert had volunteered to do so with a member of the Z-Team, he hadn’t really thought the entire process through. Or, at least, he hadn’t thought far enough ahead to consider the reality he was currently experiencing: a reality in which he shared a weekend with a raging fireball who vividly hated his guts.Or:
Robert and Flambae go on a trip out of town and sexy things ensue.

Summary
When an intel mission goes wrong, Robert and Flambae are left trapped in a warehouse bunker as temperatures outside plummet.
With no way out and no telling when help will arrive, the fire user takes it upon himself to make sure the dispatcher doesn’t freeze. Forced proximity quickly turns into something more, as the two come up with some... creative methods of keeping Robert warm.

When Jason is forced into an uneasy alliance with Superboy Prime, everything he thought he understood about control, anger, and distance begins to unravel. Prime is infuriating, impossible, and unshakably present in a way Jason can’t find his way out of. Worse still, he never seems afraid of the line Jason keeps drawing between them.
Jason calls it hate. He repeats it until it should make sense. But the truth is far more complicated than that.
And Clark Kent is surprisingly very patient about complicated things.
