Summary
Due to a magical mishap, Jason ends up travelling into the future where he is dead. Tim happens to be the one who finds him and who needs to help him go back to his own time, all while keeping Jason's presence a secret from Dick and Bruce, and not letting the other boy know that he has died.
But as he spends more time with the previous Robin, Tim starts to realize that perhaps everything is not as he had believed it to be. Jason is not brash and hot-headed, not unprepared and undertrained, entirely foreign to the narrative he has been taught about the dead Robin.

Summary
Jason follows a case into Bludhaven, where Nightwing worms his way into partnering on the case: Under the agreement that Jason not kill anyone, and if he does, Dick would see him as a threat to the safety of his city. It is an ultimatum of which neither can hold up their end. Love wears us all down. But maybe that's the only place we can meet.
Fic written in 1st person because cringe is dead. Reading the first part is not necessary, this fic is just in the same storyline.
