She was feared by the gods for her power. Feared by the Humans for what destruction she could cause even though they sought out light from her. This was the fate of the sun goddess to be feared by everyone. This goddess was named Rangi. The Sun goddess grew jealous of the beloved earth goddess and in jealousy took the life of the goddess. The goddess was replaced but wasn't as loved as the previous. Rangi was exiled and outcasted for what she had done and in the end, destroyed everything. That was the fate of the sun and earth goddess

Dying in an unwinnable battle would have been giving up.
Surrendering and letting herself live was how she could keep fighting. Even if the Horde were a horrendous monarchy intent on ruling every corner of Etheria. As long as she was here, maybe she could make enough good choices, have enough small influences to make some kind of a difference.
If Adora could save even one life as a member of Lord Hordak’s Royal Guard, then maybe it wouldn’t all be for nothing.

Rangi never expected to receive a letter from Hei-Ran, especially as they hadn’t spoken for almost four years after a bitter disagreement. Its contents even more surprising as it called her to Yokoya, the small mining town in the middle of nowhere which her mother governs. Honour bound to answer it’s summons, she leaves her position as First Lieutenant in the Fire Nation in order to do so. What she finds is a place surrounded by trees and mountains, full of interesting characters. However she never expected to find herself entwined with the legend of an otherworldly forest and the guardian spirit that protects it.
A guardian that the locals say is as tall as a mountain and wears a face of red and white!
