He had it drilled into him by his father that he was a disgrace for his secondary gender, and he must hide it from everyone to not bring shame to the Verstappen name. No need to dwell on it a whole week later,” was what he settled on, but even so it was obvious that he was still watching Oscar closely for his reaction. “There’s only one pussy I would turn vegan for, either way. ‘Till then I’d rather not starve myself.”
The look he directed at him was so pointed that Oscar felt himself blush furiously. His inner omega preened and his legs closed in the most obvious way ever to contain the slick wetting his panties, forgetting completely that there was no way it would be visible through the thick material of the team suit.
Lando smiled smugly as his eyes went down to Oscar’s pressed legs and he tilted his head to the side, looking him in the eyes again. “Do us both a favour and knock on my hotel room’s door tonight, yeah, Osc? I’m getting tired of waiting.”

Oscar had never really put all that much thought into his status as a beta.
As a beta, his secondary sex didn't put anywhere near as much of an effect on his every day life in the way that being an alpha or omega would. He didn't experience heats or ruts, and well… his ability to scent was baseline. His own scent was mild and even, much less prone to souring. In turn, he wasn't as affected by the scents of others either. It meant he had a pretty easy time on the track, all things considered.

"Rut?" he asked an cleared his throat when he heard his own wheezy voice.
"Yes. You know, the time where alphas want to fuck everything that's not on a tree on three? They get a knot and-"
"I know what a rut is!" Max interrupted him, hating the feeling of his cheeks heating up, "How do you want to know that's the reason. And why would his rut make him act like this?"
