Kaveh knew he was trans for years. He'd never told anyone, except his own mother, and Alhaitham. He almost had the confidence to come out publicly. Then the fight breaking up their friendship changed his thoughts. Once Kaveh, and Alhaitham had a falling out, Kaveh had gotten back into the closet.
Kaveh had gone to school to become an architect, getting into a one-sided love marriage once he graduated. Not long after he found out he was pregnant.
Once they had divorced, he transitioned, he became tired of faking his life. He had his life to focus on, especially for his own daughter, Mehrak.
One commission he wasn't expecting.
He had to design a home for Alhaitham. Maybe there's a chance he didn't remember him.

When they looked in the mirror, there was one thing they all had in common. They were just kids, forced into a killing game. Even if it wasn’t real, the trauma of that will stay forever. They were lied to about who they were, and what they were.
The truth was that they were normal high schoolers. Ultimates weren’t even real, and the outside world was fine, no end of the world, no meteorites. Even some of their personalities were faked, even if it wasn’t much, they still were. Now they have to deal with having a mixed version of their pre-game and in-game personalities.
The downside of the killing game not being real was that anyone who had died, was injured in the real world, not very much, but still.
OR
Post-Game Kokichi can’t handle the guilt of his actions even if they didn’t really happens and he writes a letter for each of his classmates.
