Her voice cut through the quiet atmosphere, and all other sounds simply ceased. Even the cicadas had gone completely silent, leaving her alone in the quiet. The silhouette’s head snapped in her direction at the sound of her voice, and for a second, as she made eye contact through the chains, time seemed to slow. All she could focus on in that moment, was the pair of bright, glowing green eyes staring right through her soul.

“It’s harder than it looks to take care of a plant though. Especially these plants. They’re native to Thieve’s Den, so it’s harder to keep them alive in an environment they don’t naturally live in. If you do want to take care of plants, it’s probably best to start off with something that’s easy to take care of. Like a monstera or a spider plant.”

An Inphernal by the name of Hyperlaser was a resident of Blackrock, who worked for the Korblox Administration as a mercenary. Colleagues described him as a quiet person. He had no friends when it happened, so the mystery of his true nature died alongside him. At least, that is what some were led to believe.
Hyperlaser is alive. Hyperlaser is alive, though not much of his flesh remains. He was among the first to receive the grafting treatment, replacing damaged flesh with metal and injured veins with wires. Perhaps there is a story to be had with Hyperlaser, the carrion pigeon.
