Giyuu gets turned into a cat by a blood demon art. And then gets gifted to the hashira. Who all, eventually, find themselves absolutely adoring him. They do not know he is the water hashira. Giyuu does not know how to tell them.
(Basically an excuse to give a sad Giyuu all the love and attention he deserves. Fluff-smothered angst)

Unfortunately, Sanji seems to have spent the last year falling for Princess Nami.
That’s fine. Their marriage was always political.
So Zoro stops waiting for Sanji, starts doing things on his own, and gets very good at being fine by himself.
Sanji is going to have to work very hard to convince him that being fine isn’t all he wants for them.

The Straw Hats find the cat-person owner’s manual and decide to test it. Zoro calls it bullshit, agrees anyway, and discovers that some of it is unfortunately useful.
Then they reach Dressrosa, where cat-people are being sold, and Law finds a way inside.
Zoro lets himself get caught. Sanji knows he can handle it. He would still rather burn the island down.

“What are you talking about? Why were you swimming all the way out here? What’s with your weird clothes?” The Boy, whom I refuse to name on principle, starts rapid fire shooting out questions while wiggling his way across the tiny boat to me.
“This is actually happening. Oh my god this is real, what the shit…” I turn around from my position on the floor to see The Boy crouched inches from my face. I give an undignified yelp and scramble as far back as I can without tipping over the edge.
He gives me that bright grin and announces “I’m Monkey D. Luffy! I’m gonna be King of the Pirates!” Then he cocks his head to the side. “Who’re you?”
