Everybody still moves to Oakhurst, but it's a nice, friendly town that's accepting of vampires and yaoi.
This will mostly be centered around v!Abolish, Louis, v!Pyro, and v!Owen.These chapters are only sort of done in order, so take the plot with a grain of salt.

Once a year, the townsfolk of Oakhurst gather to celebrate the autumn harvest, remember those they've lost, and consecrate the beacon at the centre of town as has been tradition for centuries. And as long as you ignore the group of travellers that are arriving in town just in time for the 600th year of consecration, then this year is just like all the rest.
Surely everything goes smoothly and according to tradition.

Summary
Everything is silent and still. This region has been that way for two centuries, keeping out all but the most persistent of wanderers, shielding itself from the outside since the last time abundant blood was spilled and fed the enchantment that ensures that the dreadful creature at its heart remains asleep.
The soil yearns for the call of its master, the corruption spreads, and the living beings that still inhabit this place keep on living, subdued, waiting. There's an air of anticipation: it's almost the promised time once again.
