Summary
On October 31, 1981, Lord Voldemort attacked the Potter home in an effort to kill the Potter twins and fulfill the prophecy. Miraculously, Jack Potter defeated the Dark Lord, weathering the encounter with nothing to show for it but a pale scar. Lily and James also survived their grievous injuries but Jack's twin brother, Harry, was not so lucky; he was the only Potter to lose his life.
The death of their son was devastating enough...but hours later, his body was stolen from the morgue at St Mungo's. No one knows what happened or why his corpse was taken.
Ten years later, Albus Dumbledore descends upon the Potter manor with a Hogwarts acceptance letter in his hand. The address reads:

Keith opened his door and glared at the harsh light from the hall, grunting before stumbling his way out into the light. He toed his way into the cafeteria, socked feet making him silent.
Upon entry to the cafeteria, he looked up. His gray eyes met piercing blue, and Keith flinched before his brows furrowed.
“What are you doing here?” Keith whisper yelled at the Cuban who had some sort of tea-centic drink, his head ducked down to feel the steam from it.
