A few months into Innocent's papacy, an incident arises where not enough beds are provided for the Pope's traveling companions. Rather than force Thomas to sleep on a couch or go to a hotel, Vincent insists they share the large bed provided to them.
What they don't expect, however, is to find out how touch-starved they both are and how wonderful it feels to fall asleep in each other's arms.

What he expects is a lot of things to explore and maybe accidentally pissing off the natives, what he doesn’t expect is a one-night stand with royalty, an angry guard and unwanted sex advice from his Captain for ‘the good of inter-planetary relations’.
