    Robby shakes his head, then realised that's not something Jack can interpret over the phone. Clears his throat. Murmurs a gravelly,

    “N-not great. Think’ve- fuck- think’ve got appendicitis.”

    There's a muffled curse and a rustling on Jack's end. Robby lets his eyes fall closed, throat bobbing nauseously. 

    “Mikey?”

    “Mm.”

    “I’m coming.”

    Robby gets appendicitis.

How easily he entered into that dynamic, not hesitating to follow Abby’s lead. She thought he hid his discomfort quite well, but of course he didn’t. He’s an open book, he always has been. He’d done that before.
