Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice...
After the dragon hunt, Jaskier comes to understand that Geralt does not like him. After Voleth Meir, Jaskier realizes that it's even worse...Geralt is indifferent to him. But this time, the wrong footwear isn't the only problem Jaskier faces on his trek down the mountain.
After the bard disappears, Geralt is forced to confront his feelings for Jaskier: namely, what the bard means to him and how he has not done a good job of showing Jaskier that. Will he be able to mend what was broken?
AKA: an angsty Geraskier fic feat. requited unrequited love with some feelings realization, whump, iditos in love, a well-earned healthy, happy relationship and ending, just like god intended.
(P.S. I am sorry for how long this fic is taking to finish. I have been slow due to health, but most of it *is* written. Thank you for bearing with me, and I promise I will see it through.)
