Summary
The vibration of his voice against her cheek was a soothing balm, each rise and fall of the tune grounding her in the present, anchoring her to him. Though the song he sang was unfamiliar, it carried a sense of nostalgia, as Solas’s fingers traced gentle patterns along her back, mirroring its rhythm.
Only once her heartbeat slowed to match his did Solas’s voice fade into a soft sigh, his lips curving into a contented smile.
“I’ve never heard that tune before," Ellana murmured. "What is it about?”
A glint of mischief accompanied his reply. “An old song I learned in the Fade about Fen’Harel and his lady love.”
She laughed. “Fen’harel hunts alone, Solas. He doesn’t have a lover.”
“Oh, yes he does.” He kissed her, his breath fanning out over her skin. “In this tune, he does.”

Summary
The Great War has ended. The blood of the Titans is free for the taking, and the Evanuris rise to power as kings and queens of the land. Among them stands Solas, newly ascended and already drowning in the consequences of his actions.
Elvhenan is not at peace. Beneath the glittering cities and rising towers, unrest festers. Solas uncovers evidence of a horrifying truth: the spread of slavery in Elvhenan. His warnings are met with political caution and willful ignorance. As he fights to uproot the rot, his path crosses with a woman who embodies everything he claims to despise.
Ellana Lavellan is a gladiator, a killer for hire… and a survivor. When she is brought to Mythal’s palace, Ellana’s task is simple: serve as Mythal’s new Second, learn the identity of the Dread Wolf—and kill him.
If only she could understand why Mythal’s lap dog seems to hate her on sight. And why, when their magic touches, it feels like lightning in her blood.

Summary
The concept of heartmates is more ancient than any story collected in all of Thedas. It supersedes law, custom, blood, and even crowns. Yet of all the things that bring certainty to Solas, this is not one of them. As a former spirit of Wisdom, he understands the concept, the construction, and even the manner of acting.
He does not, however, understand why anyone would want such a dreadful thing.
Or, an alternate universe where Elvhenan survives and fated mates are the cause.

Summary
The idea of family has always been foreign to Solas. Taking the lead from Ellana, he finds genuine peace in the feeling of her in his arms and the sight of his daughters happy and free. He thought, for once, he could rest in that earned place where the absence of threat lingered more than its presence.
Yet, even freed from the ancient duty that once bound him, when Mythal asks for his help in bringing down the Veil, he must make a decision and pray he does not come to regret it. Especially when a force begins to target his family.

Summary
Ellana Lavellan is with child. When Solas left, she thought surviving his absence would be the most difficult thing to bear, but when agents of Fen'Harel begin to target her in what is the end of a long string of assassination attempts, Ellana must face the fact that having this child could be more dangerous than anyone could have imagined.
Surviving is easy, living is another thing entirely.

Summary
The myth of Persephone/Hades reimagined in the way it is implied: Persephone is a young woman who is literally kidnapped by grown Hades and manipulated into staying with him for half the year and being wedded to him.
Suddenly, ludicrously, she understands why her mother’s eyes are as dead as they are and why her light had dimmed in place of her daughter.

Summary
He tells her half-truths of the anchor and how she might close the rifts, assures Cassandra that though she is a mage, she is not capable of such extraordinary magic, and laughs genuinely when she asks if Varric is with the chantry. He makes himself fit in.
The world is fractured beyond repair, these people are little more than tranquil, and the fade is locked behind his creation. If this woman, this interrupter with the markings of the all-mother is to be the key to their salvation, so be it. He has made more from less.

It was never supposed to happen like this, for either of them. But it did, and everything will change because of it.

Summary
Solas and Luella celebrate Midsummer.
“The thing I told you about. It’s a Lavellan tradition, or well–” A stutter, a flush? His ears perked. “A tradition of the Lavellan youths, perhaps. I can’t say Deshanna was the biggest fan of it. At least not for the past twenty years, or so.”
“Promising,” Solas felt ancient as her knee touched his. She was warm with the memory of the sun, and his shirt was sticking to his skin.Series
