Summary
In the mystical realm of Thedas, The Dark Urge- an amnesiac elf known as Tav- awakens with no recollection of his identity or location. A cruel twist of fate ensnares him in the clutches of slavers who mistakenly identify him as a Dalish elf, setting in motion a harrowing journey. But before his captors can seal his fate (or vice versa), he crosses paths with the Iron Bull and his loyal Chargers, embarking on an unexpected alliance while en-route to Haven. All the while, a malevolent force looms over Thedas, threatening to plunge the realm into chaos and death, its arrival and Tav's forgotten past intrinsically entwined.
(TLDR: The Dark Urge ("Tav") wakes up in Thedas with a headache and no memories)

He's thrust into a heroic quest to save Thedas, but his path is filled with peril. He not only battles external threats but also grapples with his unrelenting thirst for blood. Whispers and speculations swirl around him, labeling him as a possible demon from the Fade or a runaway slave from Tevinter. Summary
“Common sense dictates one does not simply walk through mysterious portals, particularly active ones in a hostile environment,” Solas says, his condemnation cutting through Petra.
“Planning doesn’t tend to be our strong suit,” Petra says.
“That much was clear.”
Astarion and Petra come upon a portal while looting a vampire den and accidentally wind up in Thedas, where they’re at the mercy of Iris Lavellan, Dorian Pavus and Solas in order to make it back home.
Unfortunately, it turns out Solas and Iris are kind of a pain to deal with. Worse: the feeling is mutual.

Summary
Astarion had a plan. A nice, simple plan: seduce Tav, sleep with her, manipulate her feelings so she'd never turn on him.
All she had to do was fall for it.
And all he had to do was not fall for her.Which is where his nice, simple plan fell apart.

Exploring Astarion's POV throughout the game while romancing Dark Urge/Tav. Canon is followed in most cases, including with lines of dialogue from the game, but Act 2 and 3 break off from canon a few times in fun ways.Content warnings are listed ahead of the more intense chapters. Overall this fic (like the game) explores what healing from abuse looks like and has a lot of references to those themes.
