“Soccer tryouts three weeks ago when Kara let the ball hit her face? She saw Lena reading on the bleachers.” Alex complements, Kara slides further down on her seat.
“Kara running into the pillar yesterday afternoon? She saw Lena laughing when she left the Chemistry lab with Alex.” Kara is going to kill Winn.
Lucy lets her mouth hang open, giving Kara her best look of shook, before glaring everyone at the table.
“I am ashamed of all of you for not letting me know about this.” She crosses her arms in front of her chest, shakes her head. “It makes so much sense know.” And she smiles, as if she knows something the others don’t. “So, Kara, are you going to ask her to the game tomorrow?”

It's been eight years since Adora left Weaver's group home, leaving her best friend Catra behind as well. Now Adora finds herself living in Whispering Woods, a quiet country town in the middle of nowhere. A peaceful and quiet place where she can heal, or so she thought. She wasn't the only one who decided that living in a small town was a good idea. Catra owns the only bar within a thirty-mile radius along with co-owner Scorpia and it doesn't help that the only thing that makes Adora feel any better nowadays is alcohol. Adora keeps the last eight years of her life under as much wraps as possible and Catra still hides some of her own secrets.
This is a bit of a role reversal in a way. Adora is the one who struggles emotionally while Catra is the more stable one in their shared adulthood.

Summary
After inheriting her grandmother's house, Adora has to leave her dream teaching job and move to a new town. She manages to secure a teaching position at the local high school, but it is far from the perfect educational oasis she was used to. From day one she’s already questioning her life choices. Then she bumps into one of her new coworkers in the copy room, and she finds herself thinking, maybe this isn't such a mistake after all.
As the reigning Teacher of the Year, it's only right for Catra to help the new hire get adjusted to life at Eternia High School. It's not because she likes her or anything. After seven years in the classroom, she knows better than to get herself mixed up in faculty drama. Sure, she's cute or whatever, but Catra is a professional. It's not happening. Absolutely not.
