    The other, Uncle Hal, is dead.

    So what was a little forgery on bringing him back to life legally? It's not like his uncle was a secret superhero who would answer the phone when the police called his guardian.

    When Bruce goes training over seas he makes an online friend that he also starts falling in love with. They still talk everyday years later but have never met in person because Bruce doesn't want to risk his identity as batman being discovered. After an argument with superman, Bruce decides it's time to move on from his online friend in pursuit of a reporter at a gala.
    This reporter, Clark Kent, is in town investigating shady shipments connected to Lex Luthor. During this investigation he crosses paths with a criminal known as Matches Malone and starts falling for him even though he knows he shouldn't. While he knows it's a bad idea to get romantically involved with Matches, he reasons this as a good way to get over his unrequited crush on Batman (who definitely hates him) like his online pen pal, Gray, has been begging him to do for years.
    While Clark's set on pursuing Matches, Bruce Wayne's efforts to win him over don't go unnoticed. At the same time it still hurts to let go of his feelings for batman. It's a good thing he has Gray to talk him through it.
