Ze lets out a sigh of satisfaction. He follows Regect as the entity takes a slow step backwards, then another, leading him until they’re walking out into the living room. He bumps his ankle on the bottom step, and pulls away slightly.
“Hmm… where are you taking me?” Ze asks, curiosity piqued.
“Back to bed.”
Or, Ze wakes up too early. Regect helps him go back to sleep.
